Description:
Chester: Printed by John Monk, 1771, First Edition.
Octavo, illustrated with 32 plates, plus an engraved title page and an additional engraving in the text. A crisp, clean, good copy. Plates clean and bright. Plates are numbered I to XXXI, there is an additional plate numbered XIII A after plate XIV, plate XXV bound out of order after XXVI and XXVII.
Most other volumes listed list 31 plates or less.
Note that the engraved title page is the only title page called for; ESTC specifically notes that the title page is engraved.

PENNANT, naturalist, antiquary, traveller, whose accounts of his journeys in Scotland, to London, and especially in North Wales, are among his best literary works.
