Hand-knotted of a blend of natural hemp and wool yarns, the soft but rugged texture of this Tangier rug by Safavieh is crafted in the classic Moroccan weave. Across the width of the rug, artisans weave two lines of pile and then skip a row to create a uniquely textured carpet. Patterns are naïve interpretations of Moorish tiles.
