Griffith’s Vintage Milk Glass Spice Jar Set of 12 plus Plastic Shelf Stand

Griffith’s spice jars were manufactured from the 1930’s until the 1950’s. Early sets all came with a stand for the jars. During WWII, metal stands were replaced with plastic ones, therefore this set was most likely manufactured between 1939 and 1945. It belonged to my grandmother.

This set of milk glass spice jars is complete and in very good shape for its age. All of the back paper labels detailing the spice and its uses are intact. This is very rare, as jars with all  labels intact are difficult to find.

All jars have their lids as well, and the lids have little to no rust spots on exterior and minimal rust spots on interior. Many of the jars still contain spices, the choice to clean them will be yours, however I have cleaned up the exteriors. Still aromatic! No screens present. The stand can also be hung on the wall as a spice shelf if desired.

The stand measures 12” Wide, 4.5” Deep, 4” High. The jars are larger than many sets. Each jar is 4” tall while many other sets are only 3.5" height.
