VINTAGE Zenith Royal 7000 Trans-Oceanic Transistor Radio Tested w/ Charts INV17027

Here we have a nice Zenith Royal 7000 Trans-Oceanic. Radios are a bit outside the norm for me but I swiped the cord from another radio and tested and it. It works great FM and VFH seems like it would work if I knew what I was doing, but I’m getting nothing in the other bands. I did a little poking around and saw that it likely needs some capacitors (transistors?) replaced. Not by this thumb-monkey. As Clint said “A mans gotta know his limitations.” Antenna is solid, charts are there if a little worn, battery compartment is super clean and overall cosmetically I’m thinking 90+%. It is missing the cord. Overall it needs a little love but is in very good condition.
