Original  of the period marked 1771 Sevres Porcelain Vase-- Marie Antoinette's last official portrait by E. Vigee Lebrun---vase approx. 10" x 4"--exquisite gold gilding marked "Henry"  (Etienne-Henry Le Guay) the master gilder for Sevres--at this time only King Louis XVI could have authorized  her portrait to be painted on a piece of porcelain--this was found in an estate auction in Southern Ohio--probably a diplomatic gift to Benjamin Franklin--It has a chip in base--(manufacturing flaw)--similar period vase with portrait sold at auction for over $100,000.00 but not Marie-one of a kind-- look forward to comments--see pictures--
