Like new remastered Warner Archive release of THE LAST RUN, the 1971 European-set crime drama starring George C. Scott as a former getaway driver, retired to a peaceful life before agreeing to one last gig where he'll drive a young killer (Tony Musante) and his girlfriend (Trish Van Devere, Scott's future wife in real life) across the border to France. It was officially directed by Richard Fleischer, though John Huston left the picture during production after starting as the director. It was also legendary cinematographer Sven Nykvist's first Hollywood studio/American film after his continued amazing work with Ingmar Bergman. It's a spare, interesting movie definitely worth checking out.

Please note this is an official, authentic Warner Archive made on demand edition.
