Offered for sale is this cover mailed in 1945 from Boston, Massachusetts to a man at the Detroit Institute of Art.  It was sent airmail special delivery and was franked with a 8c Clipper Airmail and 13c Motorcycle Driver Special Delivery.  There are two strikes of Boston, Mass. Back Bay Annex four bars.  Via Air Mail and Special delivery in magenta are stamped at lower left.  The reverse has the same Special Delivery and Via Air Mail markings and there is a Boston station duplex and three received markings from Roosevelt Park Annex of Detroit.  This will make a nice item for a collection of Massachusetts postal history.
