A double triode with an indirect glow oxide cathode - 6N5S is installed in output two-stroke cascades of powerful low-frequency amplifiers, as well as in voltage stabilizers for various purposes. The radio lamp is made in the form of a shaped glass bulb, equipped with an eight-pin octal socket with a key. Known foreign analogues are ECC230, A4475, 6AS7G, 6520.
