Cleaning out the spares cupboard and project parts that didn’t end up on a bike.
The drivetrain has been on my road bike since 2015, it is used but not abused. It has been serviced and cleaned regularly but it has various minor scratches, marks and imperfections you would expect from 8 years of semi regular use. The bike has always been stored indoors but some of the bolts have some light surface rust which I have left to avoid scratching the surrounding paint.
The drivetrain has 10,676km according to Strava.
The front derailleur is 2015 Chorus 11 speed model FD15 CH2B
Some bolts have some minor surface rust but particularly cable clamp nut. I left this untouched to avoid scatching the paint. The cage show signs of wear from chain rub which I have shown in the photo. The mech shifts perfectly with all threads in good condition.
