He was married to Nellie Germon who was one of the famous Germon family of actors. Her sister was Effie Germon who has a unique history involving John Wilkes Booth. I acquired a large lot of items and ephemera that had descended from William Sully including hand written lyrics and jokes by both Sully and Nellie Germon.
