On the Bottom by Commander Edward Ellsberg, The Literary Guild of America, 1929; S-51 Submarine, Hard Hat Diving

This is an interesting tale of the U.S. Navy trying to salvage the thousand-ton S-51 Submarine from the bottom of the ocean. Many of Ellsberg's techniques used to salvage the sub are still used today in salvage work.

This book is in very good condition.  It has a few moderate blemishes: boards and spine have mild wear, mild foxing on some pages, a few corners on the early pages were bent. Rest of pages have sharp corners and straight edges, and little to no toning throughout most of the pages. Otherwise, it has a pleasant appearance for its age. Please inspect photos to ensure condition is to your liking.
