The 50th anniversary of "Madness! Special bonus 7" paper-jacquard SACD HYBRID vinyl, exclusive to Japan!
This is the miraculous Japan-only release of "Madness", following "Atom Heart Mother (Hakone Aphrodite 50th Anniversary Edition)", on the 50th anniversary of Pink Floyd's immortal masterpiece "Madness" (released in March, 1973). This is the first Japanese release using the hybrid multichannel SACD master released by Analogue Productions overseas in 2021, and it comes in a limited edition with a 7-inch paper jacket and many special features. The 7" paper cover is a reproduction of the original British LP, and the obi is a "gold obi" of the extremely rare 4-channel Quadraphonic version released in Japan in the 1970s. The special features include a documentary-style photo book with photos from 1972, tickets, posters, flyers, and a rare lyric leaflet ("Madness" at that time was still unreleased). At that time, the Japanese title "Madness" had not yet been given to the album, and it was written as "The Other Side of the Moon: A Work for All the Crazies"). Two types of posters and postcards that were enclosed in the original LP will also be included. This is a special project for Japanese fans to commemorate the 50th anniversary of "Madness.
