Der
Bildhauer und Modelleur war seit dem Jahre 1743 Mitglied der Meissener
Manufaktur und Mitarbeiter von Kändler. Sein bedeutendstes Werk ist die Commedia
dell'Arte im Auftrag von Johann Adolf II. Herzog von Weißenfels.

GEBÄCKVERKÄUFERIN
Verkäuferin in Rokokokleidung - Schürze über taillierter Weste, langer Rock,
spitze Pantoffel, auf dem Kopf eine weiße Haube - in der rechten Hand einen Korb
voll Gebäck haltend, in der linken Hand ein Stück Lebkuchen anbietend.
Die Figur wird hinten durch einen Baumstumpf gestützt und steht auf flachem
rundem Sockel mit plastischen Blumen und Blattwerk und gold gehöhten Rocaille
Ornamenten.

The sculptor and modeler was active in the Meissen manufactory from the year
1743 as Kaendler's assistant. Reinickes most important works are the figurines
of the Commedia dell'Arte, made on behalf of Count Johann Adolf II. of
Weißenfels.

BAKERY SALESWOMAN
Saleswoman in Rococo dress - apron over fitted vest, long skirt, pointed slippers, on her head a white hood - holding a basket of pastries in her right hand, offering a piece of gingerbread in her left hand.
The figure is supported at the back by a tree stump and stands on flat round base with plastic flowers and foliage and gold heightened rocaille ornaments.
