Riverside Scene Scroll at Qingming Festival Zhang Zeduan - Asian Wall Art Hand Crafted - Exquisite

This is truly a gorgeous piece of art.

Scroll is 9' 5" long X 18" wide and is probably best hung on a wall.

Hand crafted reproduction of the original masterpiece drawn by Zhang Zeduan.
This piece depicts the city of Bianjing, which was the capital during the Song Dynasty. The highlight of this painting is on the Hong Bridge on the Bian River, which is roughly 2/3 in on the right side. On the entrance to the left you see people entering with camels.
Beautiful coloring of reds, greens, blacks, whites and other shadings. The border pattern is gold colored over a greenish color.

Material: Paper permanently fused to fabric. The back of the scroll is silk (I believe).

The box is reddish color and is made of vinyl covering some softer material. It is trimmed in leather and cream stitching. There is some embossing on the top. The box has a minor ding or two from being moved around.

Included in this listing is the scroll itself, the box, documentation and some fabric gloves for handling.

There is a section by the writing where you see the artwork was pieced together. This area can be seen in the pics.
