Half leather binding by Bayntun Riviere, gilt titles, raised gilt bands, gilt decoration to the compartments.

This volume brings together the two series of “Poems of To-Day”; the first was originally published in 1915 and the second in 1922.  Poems of To-Day: First Series (40 impressions, 1915-1929), Poems of To-Day: Second Series (13 impressions, 1922-1929).  This edition, combining both series fires issued November 1924

xxi, [iii], 350pp including the index.

Approximately 7 ½ inches tall.

• Spine – good condition – gilt titles, five raised gilt bands, gilt decoration to the compartments, the outer tips of the spine are also decorated in gilt, slightly sun faded.
• Joints – good condition – gently rubbed.
• Corners – good condition.
• Boards – good condition – half green leather boards bound by Bayntun Riviere.
• Page edges – good condition – top edge gilt, fore and bottom edges uncut and lightly tanned.

Internally

• Hinges – good condition – sound.
• Paste downs – good condition – marbled.
• End papers – good condition – marbled with some offsetting from the leather turn ins.
• Title – good condition – lightly tanned with minor foxing.
• Pages – good condition – half title, prefatory note dated December 1924, 9pp index of Authors, lightly tanned throughout.
• Binding – good condition.
