When an Amiga 500 is upgraded with an internal Gotek, you will find the data cable and power cable are too short to reach the new Gotek drive because the Gotek is normally installed upside down, so you have to put a twist in the data cable. The power and data cables that come with the Amiga 500 are just too short to do that. With this kit, it solves that problem. The 34 pin male to female data cable extends the factory cable to enable the capability to twist. Plus the included power cable gives you the extra length to power the newly installed Gotek.
