This listing is for an awesome palladium ladies wedding set featuring seven princess cut natural diamonds in the engagement ring.  Palladium is a member of the platinum family, and it has many of the same benefits.  It is hypoallergenic, and a great choice for sensitive skin. It also is naturally white, so it doesn't require rhodium (another member of the platinum family) plating like white gold does in order for it not to appear yellowish.

The major center diamond measures approximately 4.5 - 4.4 x 3 mm with an actual weight of 0.58 carat.  It is in the colorless range, graded at F, and exhibits negligible to no fluorescence. We grade the clarity at a high I-2, based mostly on a centrally located flaw.  Many jewelers would grade this diamond at I-1, and as you can see from the photos and video, the diamond is very pleasing and faces up beautifully!

The side princess cut accent diamonds are well matched with a manufacturer's stated combined weight of 0.34 carat. These channel set diamonds are nearly colorless with an average color graded at H/I and are well cut.  They are mostly eye-clean with an average grade of SI-2.  Total natural diamond weight of the engagement ring is stated at 0.92 carat.

All the diamonds in this ring are 100% genuine, natural, earth mined, untreated, and unenhanced.  Natural diamonds have a centuries long history of appreciating in value, whereas lab grown diamonds have an undeniable history of costing less and less money every year.

The wedding set features the diamond engagement ring and a plain shadow band.  The set is style number E12D59 by the Minneapolis based manufacturer, Ostbye.  Ostbye normally only sells to better independent fine jewelry stores.  As mentioned earlier, it is constructed palladium; 950 purity.  The engagement ring is finger size 6.75 and the wedding band is closer to a 7.  Both are sizable by a good jeweler.  The set weighs 7.8 grams and is approximately 7.5 mm wide at the top when worn together from outside of the major diamond prong to outside of the opposite band.

This wedding set was priced at $5,050 in our brick-and-mortar fine jewelry store when it closed in 2020.  But this requires a disclaimer.  In the months before we closed our business, the spot price of palladium was in the neighborhood of $2,350 per Troy ounce.  Today it is under $1,000.  At today's palladium price, we would have priced the set at about $3,000.  Although spot palladium is less than half of spot gold, finished palladium pieces typically sell for a little more than gold because of the higher purity of the metal and because of higher manufacturing costs.

In view of all of this, we are offering this wonderful set at the very low, closeout, buy it now price of just $1,779.99, and we are including FREE insured priority shipping!  We only have one piece of this description, so it is first come, first served.  This wedding set is solid precious metal and unworn; don't be duped into buying a cheap gold-plated ring or someone else's worn-out castoff!  We are including a nice little gift box as shown in the images that has a nifty integrated magnetic bow.

We are also including a certificate of appraisal at its full current retail value to assist you in getting adequate insurance coverage should you wish to do so.  The photo here is redacted due to contractual reasons, but your original certificate will be fully signed by our Master Graduate Gemologist Appraiser.

Please look over the information and images carefully.  We are listing it with a return privilege in case something is not accurate in the description, but we really don't want it back since we are now retired and are selling it at a closeout price.  Honestly...please don't ask to return it for some reason already clearly detailed or shown in this very complete listing!  But be confident knowing we have had 100% positive feedback since joining eBay in 2004, and in the fact that our store stocked well-made, quality-inspected jewelry designed for problem-free wear.

Thanks for looking!
