In the USSR, you don't go for milk, milk comes for you! Just about every morning, a big truck with a tank on would pull up to your yard or apartment block and shout "moloko, moloko" loudly, signaling to all to grab their "bidon" (canister) and head to get stocked up with milk!

➼ ASK ABOUT COMBINED POSTAGE ON COOKWARE!

As a sign of social status, everyone would want to have a nice bright and attractive milk jug to get their milk, not some boring old aluminum can like some tired poor old babushka would have... and one popular model Soviet people were buying milk or cream with was a simple classic French country style one like this, with a lovely painted socialist style red rose with green leaves artwork on the side!

And while the milk trucks might not shout out where you like, this pot will make a great addition to your vintage kitchen or dining room, and can even be used as a hanging planter.
