Danaraj. 29/6/90 K.L."; 1990 1st ed published by the author in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 166pp., text in acceptable condition with heavy spotting to the half-title and last blank pages - less so to the first & last few pages - along with slight browning to the text & tiny creases to the bottom corners of a few of the pages, browning to the page extremities at the top & side, some scuffing/creasing to those at the very bottom, slight edge wear to the covers/corners/top & bottom of spine (bumping to the spine & to the spine edges on front & rear), fading to the top & left hand side of the front, to the spine & to the top & right hand side of the rear, rear is very slightly marked, the front much more so with many marks, scratches & indentations (almost entirely to the bottom quarter of the front). An acceptable+ copy Memoirs of the Malaysian physician (1914-1996) Thumboo John Danaraj (known as "T. J.") who was a medical officer under the British and then a health officer under the Japanese. Later he became Professor and Founder Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, University Malaya. He was awarded the title "Tan Sri" by the King of Malaysia in recognition of his contribution to the country. It is the equivalent of "Sir" in the UK. His research was especially in the field of Tropical Eosinophilia for which he was awarded a Master of Medicine by the University of Malaya.
