He doesnt have his wind up key but you can find one in a junk or vintage shop, it does work as i used my musical jewelry box key to test him

But because he doesnt have a key, this makes him more creepy as his little trick is to start up at all times of the day and night, just a second or two but its a distinctive tin grinding noise and a tap of the drum
