Superb and rare pair of art deco hat pins from the 1930s-40s. They are made of heavy clear lucite, with a frosted spray embedded, and a pink base. The facets of the chunky lucite exterior create reflections of the interior spray. The quality suggests they are American in manufacture, or possibly French. Note that one head can move up and down slightly (a couple of mm) on its stalk, but it is firmly embedded, and this does not affect the use. It could probably be glued in place, but I have not tried this.

Total length each approx 4.5 in / 11 cm.
See with hand or ruler for scale.

CONDITION:
In good vintage condition with age-related wear as pictured. Note that one head can move up and down slightly (a couple of mm) on its stalk, but it is firmly embedded, and this does not affect the use. See photos for details.

POSTAGE NOTES (UK):
I offer combined shipping for UK buyers. If you buy more than one item at the same time, I will refund any excess postage once I know the cost. Alternatively put your items in the basket then request a total. I send all items well-packed via a tracked service, usually Royal Mail for small items. Large or heavy items go via courier. Any variation in postage price is due to item size and the type of packing needed to protect it. I try to keep my P&P fees down and do not profit from them.

POSTAGE NOTES (NON-UK):
I post outside the UK using eBay’s Global Shipping Program (GSP). Note that I cannot combine postage for non-UK buyers, as GSP does not permit it. If you want several items, don’t buy them individually. Either put your items in the basket then request a total. If this is not possible (it does not always work), contact me via eBay and I can make a bundle of the items for a single shipping fee. The shipping fees are set and charged by eBay and include customs and taxes. I have no control over them, and do not receive any profit from them.
