SILVER COFFEE & TEA CENTERPIECE WITH SAMOVAR
Excellent, complete silver coffee and tea set consisting of 8 parts, pear-shaped jugs, walls richly decorated with floral Art Nouveau motifs - leaf tendrils with berries and flowers, as well as volutes and rocailles covering the entire surfaces, hinged lids with flower knobs, all handles made of carved, black stained wood, some interior gilding.
Samovar in the form of a large kettle with a gooseneck spout, hinged lid, swiveling handle with double hinge and carved wooden handle, connected to the rechaud on the stand ring with two pull-out pins on chains, foot zone as a four-stand with volute feet on carved wooden shoes, burner with filter insert, lid and carved wooden handle .
Boat-shaped silver tray with rich volute and rocaille decoration on the handles and edges, fine chased leaf and berry decoration on the edge of the mirror.

The Mayerhofer & Klinkosch silver workshop developed into one of the most successful companies in the industry by 1850. In 1869 Josef Carl Klinkosch became the sole owner and the successor company 'Gold-, Silber- und Metallwaren-Fabrik JC Klinkosch' was created. The success remained the same: Josef Carl Klinkosch, like his father, received numerous orders from the imperial court in Vienna.
