Hi there. Up for sale is my trusty 27-speed 2015 Kona Fire Mountain in forest green. Selling because I recently picked up a Kona Blast and there's only so much room in the bike shed. ;-)

I think everything's mostly still stock, but here are the components:

Frame: 19" (48 cm) aluminium butted 6061 frame in a metallic forest green finish

Fork: SR Suntour XCR 32 suspension fork with lock-out control and 100 mm of travel

Wheels: WTB SX19 27.5" (front and rear)

Crank: SRAM 22/32/44t (triple chainring)

Derailleurs: Shimano Altus (front and rear)

Rear Cassette: 9-speed 11-32t

Brakeset: Tektro HDC-M290 mechanical disc brakes (front and rear)

Handlebars: Kona oversize aluminium riser bar on 4P front-loading alloy riser stem

Seat: Kona XC saddle with standard lever-release seat post clamp

Tubes: Slime self-sealing inner tubes with Schrader valves

It's a solid bike but please bear in mind it has been used as my primary form of transport for the past few years. I don't own a car, so I cycle everywhere. The frame is clean and has no structural damage, but of course shows the usual signs of wear and tear (mostly minor scratches) from daily riding on city roads and the occasional bit of dirt track. Please examine the photos to get a good idea of the overall cosmetic condition of this Kona. It still looks really nice, but is by no means pristine. ;-)

That said, it could definitely do with a service and possibly a new chain and rear cassette. This past month, I've noticed the shifting hasn't been as smooth as it used to be and in particular the rear derailleur needs to be adjusted as it currently isn't mapping perfectly to the gearing. (That is, instead of setting 1 on the thumb shifter mapping to cogwheel 1 on the rear cassette, it is mapping to something like cogwheel 4. So it will need to be reset so you can access all 9 cogwheels.) Also, because I've been stuck for a few weeks now using only those 4 cogwheels, I think some of the teeth have become worn down and I've started experiencing some chain slippage when trying to power up a steep hill.

Naturally, I have no way of posting or delivering this bike, so it needs to be cash on collection only. You are of course very welcome to come view it in advance of making a purchase decision. I'm open to sensible offers.
