Offered here is this edited 1984 edition of That Old Gang o’Mine, The Early and Essential S. J. Perelman. It was edited and has a forward by Richard Marschall. It is a hard cover first edition, but it is not a first printing. The book is in excellent condition, with only minimal wear at the corners and edges. The spine and binding are holding well, and all 160 pages are intact and in good condition. The paper dust jacket is present on the book, but it is torn on the back side, has some scuffs and light stains on it, and is curling up at the edges. The book was published by William Morrow and Company, Inc. and is 9.5” long, 8.25” wide and .5” thick. It is a very nice book that is a must have for any S. J. Perelman collection, and has a lot of really great humor and illustrations.
