When you open your PC again after six months to maybe install new hardware, you usually ask yourself whether the calculator isn't better described as a vacuum cleaner. What makes things easier on the one hand - just imagine how much more often the room would have to be cleaned if all the dirt wasn't caught by the computer as a precautionary measure - means on the other hand it means time-consuming cleaning of the PC interior.

DEMCiflex offers a solution that is particularly easy to retrofit, which in this case is suitable for 120 mm radiators specifically of the EX 120 type from XSPC. The filter is simply placed from the outside of the housing onto the corresponding opening in the housing and is held there magnetically. There are therefore no screws or similar necessary, which means there are no compatibility restrictions.

The filter itself is made of a very tightly woven and durable polyester fabric. This special material is also used in hospitals, for example to keep operating rooms dust-free. At the same time, the net is permeable to air and therefore only slightly hinders the airflow.

Of course, this effect diminishes as dust increases, which is why the filter should be removed and cleaned occasionally. Due to the special fastening method, removing the fan is quick and easy. The dust can then either be brushed off by hand, shaken, washed off and, in the case of stubborn dirt, scraped off.

Note: The area around the fan slot used should, if possible, be flat and have no protruding parts. These can otherwise affect adhesion to the surface.
