<Brand> AOR AR5000 Shortwave Radio Receiver 10KHz-2.6GHz <Grade> C : Very Good -A few scratches but looks good <Condition> This is the AOR AR5000A wideband receiver, which is now a rare item. Until recently, it had been operating in a non-smoking, pet-free environment. I mainly listened to AM mode in the VHF band, and it was comfortable to use because of the soft sound quality and high noise immunity that handheld receivers don't have. Unfortunately, I have decided to let it go because the reception environment has changed. -What is shown in the photo is everything. I think it comes complete with accessories. ・Reception sensitivity has been stable from the time it was introduced until just now. - During operation, external speakers were connected and used. The internal speakers are hardly used. ・There are scratches on the top plate that do not affect operation. (I don't think there are any other scratches, but there may be something I've overlooked, so please judge by looking at the photos) -The included AC adapter broke several years ago and is no longer able to supply power. ・It was operated with an adapter that can supply DC12V through a cigarette plug. (If the voltage is low, it may not start, so I think it is better to change to a power supply with a higher voltage.) It requires specialized knowledge, so if possible, I would like to give it to someone who has the knowledge and will treat it with care. It has been several years since its release, so please do not purchase it if you are looking for perfection, cannot deal with problems, or are nervous.
