Xin-B009 is compatible with Serial ATA version 1.0 and provides high-performance serial ATA RAID capabilities for all desktop, mobile and server processor platforms. It supports all ATA and ATAPI devices, including hard drives, CDS, DVDS, high-capacity removable devices, and 32-bit PCI and PCMIA interfaces, enabling PC and mobile systems to seamlessly transfer the new serial ATA.
Supports two serial ATA channels that can support two devices at the same time, and one parallel ATA channel that supports two devices. With PCMCIA interface, Cardbus mode supports two serial ATA devices. Xin-B009 supports dual-channel serial ATA, which is 12% higher than the bandwidth of ATA-133 between the storage device and the CPU, and the transmission speed of up to 150Mbps per channel, which plays a crucial role in improving the accuracy of data transmission and storage performance.
Multiple RAID levels are supported, including RAID0 for performance, RAID1 for security, and JBOD. To ensure backward compatibility, Xin-b009 also integrates a single channel parallel ATA-133 controller without adding an adapter.
Xin-B009 makes the cables inside the chassis more simple and practical, improving air circulation. This enables Oems and system builders to design smaller cases to meet the market demand for smaller, more integrated PCS. More advanced technology has designed smaller connectors that allow 3.5 "and 2.5" hard drives to save space, while PC integration tools and chassis design are simpler, and the VIA VT6421A's low-voltage design allows for a 5 volt tolerance on parallel ATA interfaces.
