Wavellite Display Specimen - High Down Quarry, Filleigh, Devon

A super display specimen of Wavellite from the Type Locality of High Down Quarry, near Filleigh in Devon. The piece displays a number of flat and raised spherules of Wavellite crystals.

It measures 8cm x 4cm x 3.5cm, weighs 104g and is best viewed under magnification to view the full detail. (All weights and measures are approximate).

This piece comes from a from a lifelong collector of minerals who self-collected from all over the world and the UK.
