This is a Zeno Watch Basel Super Precision "Bubbleback" retro men's watch, designed to resemble a famous style of watch from teh 1930s to 1950s. In that era, men's watches were smaller than today, from as small as 28mm to a "large" watch at around 34mm. At 32mm, this Bubbleback is midsize for the era, but with its chunky case, domed caseback, and thick bezel it wears more like a 34, and on a modern small to medium size men's wrist it looks suitably dressy.
It features an even-number arabic numeral dial with lovely "arrowhead" indices in between and "leaf" style hands. Movement is a Japanese Miyota 6T51, a 21-jewel 28,800 bph automatic movement with handwinding and a 40-hour power reserve. (It does not hack.) Running well in this example. Large screw-down crown makes hand-winding and setting easy.
Lugs are drilled on one side for easier spring bar removal. 17mm lug width. Note that while the dial has lume plots, the hands are not lumed—this is apparently how they came from the factory. Original bracelet
