Hand Carved and Hand-painted Easter Eggs made from Natural Free Range Chicken Eggshells in unique designs influenced by 'Indian-Jaipur-Deco’. Made in England using Britishg eggs.
The 10 individual patterns are all inspired by Indian art and design and, with a nod to Jaipur, they are predominantly pink with some in yellow, orange and green.
First the eggs are hand cleared and cleaned. A base colour is added using varying techniques - plain dye, marbled, lustre etc - then the circles, leaves, paisley cut-outs are created by hand carving the shells. These cut outs are in turn edged in complementary colours and patterns giving a unique finished egg.
Because they are natural eggs the size of the eggshells vary, but they are more or less medium sized eggs.
Included with each is a small brass ring stand for display.
