12 - 1981 Los Angeles Dodgers Win World Series Original Type 1 Snapshot Photos

12 - original, vintage unusual 1981 Type 1 snapshot photographs measure approximately 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" to 3 1/2" x 5" and picture television images from the 1981 World Series. The Dodgers lost the first two games to the New York Yankees, but then won four straight to win the Series.

The photos are somewhat blurry as they are taken from television broadcasts, but the players are easily identifiable.  Pictured and identified on the back are Steve Garvey, Reggie Jackson, Tommy Lasorda, Reggie Smith, Dusty Baker, Bob Uecker, Pedro Guerrero, Commissioner Bowie Kuhn, Ron Cey, and Lou Pinella,

The photos have the wording "THIS PAPER MANUFACTURED BY KODAK" marked throughout the back, as was used in the 1980's, with a Kodak stamp on the back dated NOV 81. They are in nice condition, with some light development marks, noticeable when held at an angle, and have a bit of trimming that was done in the period to fit into a photo scrapbook, from which these were carefully removed. These are one-of-a-kind, unusual photos from the Dodgers 1981 World Series Championship.
