These prints are in perfect condition having been stored in steel drawers for the last 29 years.  Added photos of Walter Payton's autograph from two separate prints and a close up of him at the signing session from the cert. Each autograph is individually signed and personally witnessed by our company in association with the Chicago Bears.

The following represents additional background information on the developement and production of this Ltd. print project. This project was produced in 1994. The entire edition consisted of 75 Artist and 75 Honorary Proofs and 750 Regular prints. These categories represent 3 subsets of an edition that consisted of 900 total prints which were each individually signed. This information is clearly spelled out in the certificate which comes with each print. In reality, the players signed approximately 925 prints. Due to the nature of the production process, with 21 individual signers, which included the artist, you have a high risk that some prints may become damaged in the process. Extra prints are signed but not numbered until they are needed. The need has occurred on numerous ocasions when a print in shipping was damaged or destroyed.  At the completion of the edition, if any unnumbered prints remain, they are destroyed.  The Artist proofs commanded a premium price when initially issued.  Many consumers preferred a print numbered 1 of 75 versus 1 of 750 and have been sold out for years. The Honorary prints were given to the players and management of the Chicago Bears and were not usually available for sale to the public.  The Honorary prints had the recipient's name written in caligraphy on the actual print.  We saw that Gale Sayers sold one of his personal print for $8,000 at a charitable auction many years ago.

We took multiple photographs of a randomly selected numbered print from the edition and used those photos for this Ebay listing.  If you buy the print in this listing you do not actually receive that specific print number but the next available print in our archives. We do this for convenience. When a print sells, we push one button to relist. We still have a small number of prints from this edition for sale and utilize Ebay and selective shows to market and sell those remaining prints. The reason we still have prints is because when we closed our galleries in 2009, everything was locked away for  almost 12 years. In 2020, I decided to sell our remainng inventory consisting of many different items.

It is our intention to explain how things were done in the production process and the history of this print edition. We have heard rumors about reprints being sold in the market place.  This is what was being done without our knowledge. When the edition was released in 1994, we created a sales brochure that was approximately 8" x 10" and was a reproduction copy image of a framed print with a banner stip across the front showing it was a simple brochure. The brochure was printed on thin cheap paper stock and included sales information on one side with our address and contact information.  Over the years, unscrupulous people found our brochure, copied it and had actuall sold it to consumers for as much as $200.  It is a copy and the autographs are reprints. The actual print measures approximately 28" X 36" .  Hope this answers a few questions that people may have. Thanks
