From Rogue Trader, Warhammer 40,000's first edition, the Traitor Terminator is the origin of Chaos Terminators; astartes elites who turn their back on their oaths in exchange for the power granted to them by the dark gods. The design of these renegade terminators is notably less spiky than later versions, with the silhouette very similar to the loyalist, but with more profane sigils and blasphemous icons.
This particular model is the captain of the squad and a good candidate for a Chaos Space Marine Chaos Lord, especially considering his fancy, potentially daemon filled sword.
The model is undercoated black. A madman filed off the arm pegs, so it might be necessary to pin the arms to the model. Please note that the sale model is not fully painted and that the images of fully painted miniatures are examples only. The sale miniature is undercoated black.
