Early 19th Century Louis XV French Provincial Oak China Cabinet or Buffet Deux Corps


An early 19th century French oak china cabinet (also known as a buffet deux corps) with a wonderfully sumptuous carved floral bouquet bursting at the crown’s center, floral carvings on the stiles, doors and apron, chicken wire and two shelves in the upper case and large open storage compartment below. This piece was originally intended to store linen, china and glassware.
