Here is a wooden (pine) box pyrographed, painted and varnished by me.

The engraving on the lid is "Gnôthi Seauton", in Greek letters, the famous replica that can be seen inscribed on the 
pediment of the Temple of Delphi in Greece. The temple dedicated to Apollo was known for housing the adyton 
(sacred place) where stood the Pythia, a woman who uttered oracles.

I applied a gray chalk paint, to give a finish reminiscent of stone, I then applied a Satin varnish to protect against stains.

The outer dimensions of the box are 14x9x5cm which corresponds to 5.5x3.5x2 inches

It will be perfect for holding all your little treasures or beloved jewelry :)
