This is a wonderful fairly small sized kilim striped wool rug, with alternating bands of color and small geometric patterns. The rug features fringe on both ends, as well as textural elements of piled wool that accent certain areas with more a three-dimension look. The bands of color alternate from red to white to brown to gold, with navy and dark green stripes interspersed throughout. This is a very neutral but colorful rug, that looks very functional and modern - it could look amazing on the floor, or equally amazing up on the wall. This rug is likely from the period between the late 1960s and the early 1980s, given the colors, style, and weaving techniques. A fantastic piece.

Great vintage condition. Some minor clipping of the fringe, but most seems to be intact. A few minor pulls and irregularities in the weave, as you'd expect from a handmade woven item of this age. See photos for more details.

Sold as-is. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to request more photos. Thanks.
