We just unpacked the last eighty pipes from my extensive collection as I scale back for retirement. Here’s a rare straight grain one….
You are bidding on a superb pre-smoked extra large Dublin Shape pipe, with amazing 360° "Straight Grain", Italian Ebonite bit, in excellent condition by Barontini Pipes factory, Livorno – Italy. The straight grain is simply unbelievable. I bought this pipe about 1985 and it has been well maintained.
If it had a higher production name, it would be worth more than double what I’m asking
Barontini was founded in 1890 opened a factory for the production of briar blocks and later finished pipes. Grandson Cesare Barontini took direction of the factory in 1955, which still holds together with his daughters Barbara and Silvia today.
This is a CESARE BARONTINI Hand Made smooth straight grain natural finish extra large tapered Dublin bowl pipe. Please see the pictures for details, use the pictures to determine the overall condition
