JR 485 series limited express train (Kyoto general driving office/Raicho) additional set
The 485 series was introduced in 1968 as a limited express vehicle that was compatible with three power sources: DC and AC 50/60Hz, and was used in electrified sections across the country.
The limited express "Raichou" was introduced in 1964 as a limited express train connecting Kansai and Hokuriku.
The 485 series ``Raicho'' has been used for many years, and as the star limited express of the Hokuriku Main Line due to its large number of trains, it has become the representative 485 series limited express train in western Japan.
