Antique late-Georgian / early-Victorian scrapbook.  Housed in a large album measuring approx. 44cm by 28cm across the coverboards, it contains 68 images.  They are mainly engravings / prints, presumably some taken from books.  7 or 8 appear to be pencil sketches by a skilled amateur.  One is attributed to W M Craig 1806 – possibly William Marshall Craig, but not sure if it’s a print or a charcoal sketch.  The images are stuck into the album pages, apart from one silhouette, which is loose.  The album itself is in poor condition – the coverboards are detached, the spine is missing, and some of the front pages are loose.  The edges of the pages are bruised and dogged, and there is some page browning, foxing and mustiness commensurate with age.  Only about half of the album pages are filled – the second half is blank.
