"Lake Louise" is a vintage William M. Thompson landscape print.  William M. Thompson (1893-1967) had a short but prolific career as a commercial artist.  Beautiful western landscapes, snow covered countrysides and mountain scenes are settings of some of his work. His work is very similar to that of R. Atkinson Fox.

"Lake Louise" is considered Thompson's most prolific works, appearing on prints, puzzles, and bank posters.  It is 22" x 28" in size and is in very good condition.  There is some softening of the edges of the print.

Chuck Olson spent over 40 years collecting and traveling the United States in search of unique vintage prints.  He was especially interested in prints that were printed for use on calendars in the "Age of the Calendar" from 1900-1960.
