Beautiful antique oak garment
sacristy cabinet found in a church many years ago in Southern Mn. This
held garments, via hangers, inside as we were told for vestments. See
last photo.
Such a great design and dimensional piece. This is shallow with a eight inch depth.
Note there are no shelves, nor does it appear there were ever any. But
if the buyer is handy or had someone place shelving in this it would be a
fabulous kitchen piece for jars, spices, etc. Otherwise in any room for your antique or vintage collectibles, pottery, antique bottles, art etc. etc.
Approx. measurements:
79” height, 58.5" width with cornice. Body itself is 52.75" wide by 8" deep. Interior is 6.5" deep.
Definitely a stunning piece. A great example of 19th century oak.
Wonderful dental molding gives it a Gothic appeal. Dating to approx.
1880's - 90's. This shows only one piece of glass left in the upper
door. Flat glass would be an easy thing to add to all doors.
