The ornaments measure 1.5 cm x 1.5 cm.

This is a nice pair of cufflinks marked in several places “Am.D and RJ”. At first I thought they tested quite oddly, but I found the maker on Google and then found out that Am.D evidently stands for alte Manschettenknöpfe,  Doublégold. The first two words being Old Cufflinks the last word Rolled Gold. I believe Old Cufflinks is a trade mark, not to be understood as a reference to age. I presume Doublegold is like our rolled gold plate. I don’t know if the colored stone is a stone of glass, but oddly enough one sits up much higher than the other, although they are obviously a pair.
