INSIDE LID 'Since opening in 1849 the magnificent interiors of the Harrods Food Halls have provided a theatrical setting for tempting displays of the finest foods from around the world, with vivid tiles by Royal Doulton, Rococco inspired plasterwork by Parisian craftsmen and sumptuous Art Nouveau styling. In the centre, a pair of ornate brass peacocks stand as the guardians of the Food Halls.
