'SF' indicates a minor aesthetic defect with Godin, in this case it's a very small ding on the top (pic).
Handmade in Canada, this A4 Ultra has everything you need for studio and stage work.
The baswood body with solid spruce top features a semi-acoustic design- the sum total is fantastic articulation and warm natural resonance.
The satin finish here allows the woods to resonate naturally, enabling a great 'woody' character that you just cannot obtain from lacquer.
The pickups and electronics here allow you to create virtually any tone you can imagine.
There is a saddle transducer for acoustic bass tones and a Lace Sensor humbucking pickup for magnetic electric sounds.
Volume and a 3 band eq enable full tonal control.
There are two jacks, so you can run both pickups to one amp, or send them out to a stereo setup.
