Since its debut the monster X2N has been the benchmark for super-output full-bore humbuckers.
The twin wide bar pole pieces create a superbly focused and strong magnetic field for excellent power and accuracy.
The X2N produces a huge tone and is meant to drive tube amps into singing saturation.
Stellar for power chords and anthemic leads. The coil-splitting option is very effective thanks to the X2N's high-output because a single X2N coil has performance parameters similar to Strat pickups, simply unmatchable with weaker humbucking pickups.
