WELCOME TO: Birdieuno's Eclectic Collection Today: The Platters Collectors Treasury 16 of Their Biggest Hits I offer from my collection of vinyl records a wide variety of genres. I attempt to offer something for most taste. I also attempt to offer quality products as much as possible. This means my sources are primarily all used items. Assume it is used unless specifically identified a Sealed or New Condition and Audio Quality: The vinyl record has been cleaned and visually inspected and at least partially played. Both sides may look very clean but I always recommend a good cleaning for older records, even in this fine condition, to remove any inner sleeve fibers and dust that may have accumulated over time. This vinyl record presents a VG+/VG+ visual grade on both sides of the record. Both sides look very clean with a deep black gloss. Cleaned with my record cleaning system.

Vinyl grading is usually based on the Goldmine standard and is as follows: SS-Mint Still Sealed ? For the collector that demands nothing but perfection. Even sealed has flaws on occasion NM Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, almost like new. (If it is opened cannot be rated mint) EX+ - close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector. EX - a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear. VG+ - There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice. VG - significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise, still plays great. Good - In the record world, "Good" is not good! From here on down, we're talking about beat-up records! I do not list this type of record unless it is a rare find and could be valuable to a collector. |
