The artistic highlight of his work is without a doubt his sixteen characters from the “Commedia dell'Arte”, which he allows to enter into exciting and humorous relationships.
Each of these figures not only shows the role they play through their posture, but also makes corresponding statements with gestures.
In 1802 almost all Bustelli models were destroyed, around 1890 the new edition began with impressions of surviving examples.
