Set of three J.B. Akin, Danville KY, coin silver serving spoons. They are approximately 8.75" in length with 1-7/8" wide bowls. They weigh a total of 125 grams. The spoons have elegantly monogramed, matching initials on the handles in period correct script. The spoons display light scratches and wear throughout, commensurate with age and use. There are flecks of tarnish and discoloration here and there. There is a small indention in one of the bowls. Note, there is a small crack in the bowl of one of the spoons on the edge close to where it meets the stem (see pictures). We have not cleaned the spoons other than to wipe them down with a dry cotton towel.
