This is a vintage spool of Fidelitone magnetic recording wire in its original metal container. There is no date shown, but it is likely from the 1940s or before, as magnetic tape recording replaced wire recording in the 1950s. The printing on the container says that it contains over 3600 of wire, but this has not been verified. A small length of the wire is sticking out of the container. The tin measures about 3" in diameter and 3/4" thick, and it shows a little rust and other normal signs of wear expected on a metal piece from that era. Overall, it is in good vintage condition and would make a great addition to any collection!
