It provides fixed mounting for prisms, beam splitters, and dichroic filters within the 4-rod optics cage structure. The cube also features 1.035-40 threaded apertures on four sides which can attach LT10 lens tubes or Q-BT beam tubes to construct an enclosed optical system.
